QWhy are my images saved as WebP when I choose AVIF?

Browsers can display AVIF, but none of them can currently save AVIF from a web page. When your browser can't export AVIF, the tool saves WebP instead and says so under the format buttons. To export real AVIF files, use the Mac app Image Tool+.
